Because he looked like an elephant.

I think that joseph merrick and Dr. Frederick Treves are the daredevils in this story.
Because dr treves tried to make the live of joseph better.
And the elephand man tried to make his live better to.
Even with all his handicaps.

When the people of Den Bosch heard of the elephant man they were first afriad
and then affected.
They made a gathering to spare money.
So the could give the man (Joseph Merrick)
stuff like clothes, pictures and a surgerie,
To get him look like normal people.
months are going away and the surgerie was still not finished.
when it was finely done, and al his death body's ware carried away he looked like a normal man.

to years later he had a beautiful lady 2 kids and worked by schiphol.

he sed that his happy now, very very happy.

and he sed that wanna go after his dreams.

and so he goes....... to amerika.

And there he lived happily ever after.
